Episode 8- The Band is Johnny Cakes with Canadian Maple Syrup

Originally formed as Ronnie Hawkins and The Hawks, and later cherry picked to be Bob Dylan's first live backing band, four Canadians and a feller from Arkansas eventually settled on a legacy, forever known as The Band. For this episode, Nate Hall and I brew up a pot of coffee and sip bloody Mary's as we analyze the power struggle between Robbie Robertson and Levon Helm. The two main Band members never saw eye-to-eye, but they still created a body of work that has transcended music for decades with a style all their own. To top it all off, we find the perfect companion food for listening to my favorite Sunday morning record. Enjoy your lunch, and rate  TBCBYF on  Apple Podcasts
